Sarah E. Eagen

Sarah E. Eagen came to the Law Offices of Robert C. Gottlieb in 2007 after serving as the law clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. LaConte in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County. Ms. Eagen received her Juris Doctor from the Villanova University School of Law in 2006. While at Villanova, Ms. Eagen worked for the Honorable Denis P. Cohen in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and the Montgomery County, Pennsylvania Public Defender's Office. She also spent a summer studying at the University of Montreal School of Law.

As an undergraduate, Ms. Eagen studied psychology, focusing on its interaction with the legal system. In particular, Ms. Eagen studied the credibility of eye-witness testimony, police line-ups and show-ups, group/jury decision making, confessions, and recovered memories.

Ms. Eagen is a member of the bar of New York State, and admitted to practice in the federal courts of the Southern and Eastern District of New York.  Additionally, she is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of New Jersey. Ms. Eagen is a member of the New York City, State and County Bar Associations and the New Jersey Bar Association.
